Come scriveva Maurizio53 a dicembre abbiamo avuto l'onore di ospitare nel territorio aquilano 4 esemplari di ibis eremita, 2 dei quali scomparsi qualche giorno dopo l'arrivo ( uno trovato ucciso da arma da caccia; per l'altro si suppone la stessa fine...). I due si erano ambientati molto bene nel territorio, ma a causa della forte caccia e del clima poco adatto allo svernamento, gli "Austriaci" hanno deciso di recuperarli e portarli in un luogo più idoneo e sicuro. Io e Maurizio, insieme a altri volontari, abbiamo preso parte all'attività di monitoraggio e poi di recupero dei 2 animali; è stata un'esperienza straordinaria seguire da vicino, fotografare e convivere con loro per un mese...
