La fitta vegetazione che cresce nel Pantanal rende impossibile l'avvistamento di questo incredibile felino, il giaguaro. Tuttavia maggiori possibilità si hanno percerrendo i numerosi fiumi che attraversano la regione, ma anche qui la vegetazione sulle sponde non manca e spesso rende difficoltoso l'avvistamento. Capità però che dopo averlo intravisto tra i cespugli e seguito per un lungo tratto, esca sul ciglio della sponda e si lasci ammirare in tutta la sua maestosità, per poi tornare e sparire definitivamente nel fitto della vegetazione. Martedì 12 maggio 2015 alle 20:40 presso il centro culturale di Quero (Ex cinema) terrò la proiezione fotografica del viaggio se qualcuno è della zona e fosse curioso di vedere.
