I'll be strange but in this picture I see anything but a good composition, excuse my frankness ...
The two mills, which I consider to be the subjects of the photos as they are the main features of the place, they "lose" a lot in the frame you want to use a wide-angle focal length that tends to create depth in the image and to remove the background from first floor, because you want the grass and reeds on the right partially covering the second mill, or because a boat I completely shearing the basis of the first. There is much empty space on the left and my eye is constantly distracted from the barrels on the right. Well, frankly, I can not find balance in the composition.
Being able to repeat the shot, personally I would try: - To utilize a longer focal length, not so, I would say to the eye between 24mm and 45mm to give more importance to the mills in the picture; - Remove distractions, I always refer to the reeds on the right that are not functional to the composition; - Use the boat, not for cutting a mill, but to guide the eye towards it, placing it to the left in the frame; - Search for your lighting condition more interesting (but I know that the road is not always possible).
This is my analysis, I hope to not have seemed arrogant or know-it-because it is not my intention, I'm nobody and so I say just what I would have done it for you and I hope that this analysis (if correct) can help us both to grow photographically , definitelyrather than the classic "good" or "beautiful" you are fine, but do not help to improve.
Greetings
Stefano
PS: I know that talking about and realize the error in photos is made much easier, myself errors composition I realize too late (at home on PC -D) Sarò strano io ma in questa foto vedo tutto tranne che una buona composizione, scusate la franchezza...

I have immortalized the moment that I walked past the eyes and as such I think it is great the mill you see him, the boat moving and there is a reflection, I think there is everything !!! |
