Noi stavamo di base al campo 3, la sera stavamo fino a tardi intorno al nostro tavolo nel letto del fiume e accanto a noi passavano leopardi, elefanti, ruggivano leoni, succedeva ogni cosa nel buio più totale. A volte un flash di qualche torcia ci permetteva di capire cosa ci fosse intorno a noi....ho i brividi a ripensarci! Peccato solo che ci fossero 52°, abbiamo sofferto un caldo atroce ma lo rifarei, anzi, lo rifarò prestissimo!!!!!!  Seguiranno altre foto.....

Paolo non sapevo nulla delle leonesse, caspita che sfortuna, devo dire che la gente a volte si comporta con leggerezza.....sicuramente il posto richiede una guida esperta, ma può capitare di tutto! Per fare queste foto ai bufali noi arrivavamo a piedi dal letto del fiume, la prima volta ci siamo arrampicati su una sponda sabbiosa facendo non poca fatica, sprofondando sotto il peso dell'attrezzatura, arriva in cima per prima la guida, si ferma, si gira, e ci sussurra "Go go go go.....", si era trovato i bufali a due metri, perciò tutti via di corsa giù dalla riva col cuore in gola, abbiamo fatto un polverone che sai che belle foto potevano farci??  Un altro giorno eravamo seduti ad aspettarli sotto un albero su quella che pensavamo essere la riva giusta, a un certo punto sentiamo "crack", un ramo rotto dietro di noi, ci si gela il sangue, ci giriamo e la mandria era lì appena dietro di noi che ci fissava, con quegli sguardi buffi che visti a piedi da vicino sono agghiaccianti, così via di corsa di nuovo giù da una riva su dall'altra. E' incredibile come arrivino in silenzio quando camminano..... ah che ricordi pazzeschi!!! Mia madre non può sentire questi racconti....
