Tra le tante cose che abbiamo visto e fotografato durante l' ultimo viaggio, per quanto mi riguarda, un posto particolare è occupato dalla grande riunione di fedeli hinduisti sulle rive del mare nel delta del Gange. Nonostante sia il secondo più importante evento dopo il Khumba Mela, non è per nulla conosciuta dai turisti e, come speravo, eravamo gli unici turisti tra milioni di fedeli. Una giornata lunghissima iniziata all' 1 del mattino e conclusasi alla sera senza un attimo di respiro!! Ora che l' ho vista e che ho capito come muovermi ho il forte desiderio di tornarci...............

la Kumba mela non è solo da fotografare...è proprio da vivere......stai attento che le 60.000.000 (sessanta milioni) di persone presenti potrebbero alla lunga essere pesanti......ma mai visto tanti santoni tutti insieme.....
per me è stata un'esperienza UNICA!!!!!
a Novembre dovrei andare un pò in giro in India...tra i posti che vorrei vedere Omkareshwar, Chitrakoot, Alalhabad......
il resto è turismo di massa che a me interessa molto poco....

Volendo si riescono a trovare posti meraviglioso dove ci sono davvero pochi turisti..... ed essere gli unici in mezzo ad una celebrazione con milioni di fedeli credo sia un esperienza davvero preziosa.

Nell' ultimo viaggio ad esempio in 16 giorni, in cui abbiamo visto tribù bellissime e posti altrettanto interessanti compresa la festa Hindù sul mare ne avremo incontrati 5 o 6 in tutto :-P
