Grazie a tutti.
Un caro saluto.

Giuseppe

Thanks Ophidio, I was inspired just to Vermeer. In fact, the title of the photo is reportedly just another name that is known this painting by the Flemish painter: "Girl with a Pearl Earring." I did it for a special reason, in addition to a deep admiration for the painting in question. It appears that, because of the strange lack of drawings or sketches preparative, it is supposed that the artist, to prepare his works, has resorted to the use of so-called "camera obscura," that is the ancestor of our cameras, already known at the time. And just like the darkroom timer and turns the projected images, I wanted to represent it in a mirror, projecting it in a modern way.
Thank you all.
Best wishes.

Grazie ancora.
Un caro saluto.

Giuseppe

Thanks also to you Camporeale, for your very kind comments.
In fact, I find very stimulating ways a bit 'special
the use of flash and test patterns are always different.
After all, photography is light and therefore
use and control of light,
although personally I prefer the artificial,
on which I usually to have more control.
Thanks again.
Best wishes.

Ciao sergio

I find it very beautiful all your portraits, I really like the management of the black background light. I, instinctively, in this, I would have decentralized the model on the left, leaving more space ahead, rather than behind, but that's just my feeling that does not detract from the beauty of this shot.

Mille grazie anche a te, Sergio.
In effetti quello che dici è vero.
Però era stata una decisione presa già in partenza
perché volevo "rovesciare" tutti i canoni classici.
Giuseppe

A thousand thanks to you, Sergio.
In fact what you say is true.
But it was a decision from the outset
because I wanted to "overthrow" all classical canons.
The main reason, however, remains my intention
to follow the model of the gaze that, at least in my opinion, the 'observer brings to the space behind him.
However I do not hide that I will try your suggestion.
Thanks again for your very kind comments and acceptable.
Best wishes.
