Grazie Ophidio, mi sono ispirato proprio a Vermeer. Infatti il titolo della foto è riferito proprio all'altro nome con cui è nota questa tela del pittore fiammingo: "La ragazza con l'orecchino di perla". L'ho fatto per un motivo particolare, oltre che per una profonda ammirazione verso la tela in questione. Pare infatti che, a causa della strana mancanza di disegni o bozze preparative, si suppone che l'artista, per preparare le sue opere, abbia fatto ricorso all'uso della cosiddetta "camera obscura", cioè l'antenata delle nostre fotocamere, già conosciuta all'epoca. E proprio come la camera oscura rovescia e ribalta le immagini proiettate, ho voluto rappresentarla in maniera speculare, proiettandola in chiave moderna.

Thanks Ophidio, I was inspired just to Vermeer. In fact, the title of the photo is reportedly just another name that is known this painting by the Flemish painter: "Girl with a Pearl Earring." I did it for a special reason, in addition to a deep admiration for the painting in question. It appears that, because of the strange lack of drawings or sketches preparative, it is supposed that the artist, to prepare his works, has resorted to the use of so-called "camera obscura," that is the ancestor of our cameras, already known at the time. And just like the darkroom timer and turns the projected images, I wanted to represent it in a mirror, projecting it in a modern way.

In effetti mi stimola molto cercare modi un po' particolari
nell'uso dei flash e sperimentare schemi sempre diversi.
In fondo la fotografia è luce e quindi anche
uso e controllo della luce,
anche se personalmente prediligo quella artificiale,
sulla quale riesco in genere ad avere maggior controllo.

Trovo molto belli tutti i tuoi ritratti, mi piace moltissimo la gestione della luce sullo sfondo nero. Io, istintivamente, in questo, avrei decentrato la modella sulla sinistra, lasciandole più spazio in avanti, piuttosto che dietro, ma è solo una mia sensazione che non toglie nulla alla bellezza di questo scatto.
