Ti ringrazio per le considerazioni, attente e onorevoli davvero nei confronti della fotografia.
Il bianconero, come vedi se passi per le mie gallerie, è un'abitudine ormai, credo, definitiva. Che peraltro per me è nata insieme alla passione stessa per la fotografia: da ragazzino, fu una HP5 la prima pellicola comprata, e poi la china è stata fatalmente quella, come per molti altri
Credo che pensare la fotografia a colori o monocromatica, perlomeno per chi si dedica all'una o l'altra da tempo e quasi esclusivamente, sia sostanzialmente un'abitudine. Abitudine che provoca poi tutta una serie di piccole scelte e qualifica i criteri di visualizzazione più o meno coscientemente.
Spesso si dice "questa l'ho vista in bianconero": devo ammettere che è un concetto che non riesco ad afferrare e, per ovvia conseguenza, a fare mio. Ho sempre pensato invece che ti abitui a cogliere, di quel che ti passa davanti, le migliori potenzialità per tradurlo nel tuo linguaggio, e non credo valga in modo troppo differente per una fotografia o un'altra
