Dall'ultimo viaggio fotografico in India, tornati due giorni fa. Emozioni a non finire. Questa madre di 3 cuccioloni di un anno, aveva da poco cacciato e dopo aver lasciato mangiare i suoi "tigrotti" ha dato qualche morso anche lei. Si è poi spostata qualche metro più avanti, lasciandoli a giocare poco distante. Ma nemmeno il tempo di rilassarsi un attimo che due dei tre le si sono avvicinati cercando conforto materno e coccole. Alla fine si sono voltati nella nostra direzione ed abbiamo scattato a raffica. La luce non è mai radente ma sempre molto soffusa creando un'atmosfera molto calda. Questi erano gli ultimi raggi di un intenso pomeriggio dove, nostra fortuna, abbiamo assistito anche ad una caccia nell'acqua bassa,ad un cervo, andata a buon fine. Nonostante la mole, si vedeva che i cuccioloni erano ancora troppo impegnati nel gioco per essere lasciati liberi di crearsi una propria famiglia. Dovranno attendere ancora un altro anno prima di lasciare le cure della madre. Una piccola nota: i piccoli all'inizio erano 3 ma diversi mesi fa, attraversando il lago del Ranthambhore NP, un coccodrillo ha predato uno di loro. La foto è stata scattata dalla jeep in condizioni più che precarie, a mano libera. Lunghezza focale 1280mm. Leggero crop per raddrizzare la foto.
