The animals in ZOO has different life story than those in wild, but still have stories. In some cases they are more lucky than those thousands killed for uncontrolled hunting, non sense killing and natural environment destroying. Once there will not be armed guards of the apes in the wild, there will be almost no reason to keep them in captivity. |

Certo hanno una comodità e possono vivere in un modo che in natura non esiste, ma il loro istinto gli dice che quello non è il loro habitat, forse è anche per questo che spesso soffrono di altre malattie che in natura non contraggono (a causa del poco movimento e dell'assenza di una vita spesa nel branco o nella comunità a seconda della specie). Certo forse avrai anche ragione nel dire che spesso gli ZOO sono stati luogo di scoperte da parte di ricercatori e quant'altro, ma per me la loro presenza è solo giustificata dal fatto che in alcuni di essi sono contenuti gli esemplari di specie a rischio d'estinzione che necessitano di particolari attenzioni e sono giunte a punti di non ritorno. Altrimenti per me è solo spazzatura (scusa il termine, ovviamente rivolto ai luoghi e non alla foto) commerciale.
Poi il fatto che questa foto sia stata scattata probabilmente in condizioni ottimali e con un 100 mm su FF la dice lunga sul valore di un documento simile se confrontato ad altre immagini (mi ricordo in particolare la tua del leopardo in Thailandia, che era un must) scattate in natura.
Ad esempio questa primavera avevo in programma di andare a fare appostamenti nell'Appennino alla ricerca del lupo anziché andarlo a vedere nell'area faunistica. Ovvio che probabilmente mi ci vorranno giorni, se non mesi, per vederlo, ma secondo te, da fotografo naturalista quale sei, o almeno quale io credo tu sia, cos'è meglio? Una singola foto,magari anche non tecnicamente perfetta del lupo in libertà nel suo habitat? Oppure una foto tecnicamente perfetta ma scattata da 2 metri di distanza a dei lupi quasi addomesticati e separato da una recinzione?
