con Canon EF 2.0x III, 1/250 f/8.0, ISO 800, hand held. Pantanal, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Specie: Panthera onca

Il giaguaro è il sovrano indiscusso del Pantanal. Questa femmina uscendo dalla foresta mi fissa con il suo sguardo penetrante per poi procedere per un tratto lungo la riva del fiume alla ricerca di prede. Avvistare il giaguaro nel Pantanal non è difficile ma fra vederlo e riuscire a realizzare delle discrete foto c'è una bella differenza e la fortuna a volte è indispensabile. Giovedì 29 gennaio presso la Birreria di Pedavena mostrerò la proiezione fotografica del mio recente viaggio alla scoperta di questo fantastico luogo. A me piace molto la composizione: il tronco dell'albero ha una forma interessante e dà subito l'idea di scatto in ambiente naturale, si intravede un minimo spicchio della parte posteriore del giaguaro e non si ha quindi la sensazione visiva che l'animale sia stato "mozzato" dal fotografo. Splendido lo sguardo in camera
