E' un soggetto che dire splendido è riduttivo.
Anche lo scatto è buono, d'altronde quando non puoi scegliere l'ora di scatto e perciò l'incidenza della luce che colpisce il soggetto, i risultati sono sempre un po' sotto le aspettative.
E come dici tu stesso e condivido in pieno "con la luce ottimale .. è un gioiello alato"

grazie 1000 a tutti,Robertino come ho detto più volte in africa non si fa avifauna da capanni ,appostamenti mobili o altro.
ai soggetti mi avvicino con tecniche diverse.non guardandoli,avvicinandomi facendo finta di andare altrove,sfruttando macchie o alberi.sai quante volte mi sono portato a tiro ,li punto e volano via???il 60%.
altre volte mi capita qualche casino tipo mi sono piazzato su un nido di formiche carnivore che mi hanno sbranato pinzandomi anche attraverso i pantaloni
questo comporta anche il dover fotografare quando i soggetti ci sono indipendentemente dall'orario.ad esempio questo benedetto gruccione al mattino presto l'ho visto solo su orribili fili della luce mentre a mezzogiorno si è presentato nel posto giusto.inutile protestare,meglio accontentarsi e divertirsi.
per me conta l'emozione di stargli vicino ,se poi viene una bella foto meglio

Con una luce così dura sei riuscito ad ottenere un risultato incredibile. Posso chiederti se usi il flash col betel beamer in manuale o TTL? Me ne sono autocostruito uno, e funziona egregiamente, ma ho sempre il dubbio se usarlo regolando la potenza "ad occhio", o in TTL. Mi è capitato di usarlo anche fotografando il surf con tempo nuvoloso, e mi ha dato un discreto effetto sugli schizzi, schiarendo appena le ombre del surfista. Ciao e grazie in anticipo. Ezio

I have self-made one, and it works great, but I always doubt whether to use it by adjusting the power "by eye", or TTL.
