Brian, beautiful capture! Like the pose, the expression, the fine detail, the plumage display, and the great setting. Good job of positioning the light to get a good exposure on the face. Sometimes tough to do in the winter with a low angle sun casting shadows. Well caught. Wally |

Wally, light was a fluke. I've cropped it out but the Osprey is surrounded by branches/leaves. I was lucky that from my vantage point the line of sight was through the branches/leaves and the sun was rising behind the bird. Basically he/she was sitting just in the right spot to get a decent photo : ) |
