" Personalmente non riesco a farmi una ragione delle creste delle onde mosse.. ma è tecnicamente impossibile fermarle mantenendo mosso il reflusso (almeno credo). "
Si per avere un reflusso che disegni bene la battigia bisogna andare su tempi attorno al secondo e le onde si sfumano parecchio, si potrebbe ovviare alla cosa facendo un'altra esposizione con tempo più rapido ma si verrebbe a creare una sorta d'incoerenza all'interno dell'immagine, è una tecnica che a volte ho provato ad usare ma non mi ha mai convinta totalmente

Is to have a good reflux that designs the shoreline of times you have to go around the second and the waves fade a lot, you might remedy the thing doing another show with the quickest time but it would create a sort of inconsistency all ' internal image, is a technique that sometimes I tried to use but I was never totally convinced;-)

Il tronco era molto interessante per forma e colore, di contro non pesava molto, durate le riprese a volte me lo sono ritrovata contro il treppiedi, a volte ho dovuto recuperarlo quasi in mare, alla fina è arrivata l'onda giusta a coprire tutto il primo piano ma senza troppa forza

The trunk was very interesting in shape and color, in contrast did not weigh much, shooting lasted me sometimes found myself against the tripod, sometimes I had to recover almost at sea, the fine came the right wave to cover all first floor but without too much force;-)

Ciao Caterina!!! la foto mi piace molto ... adoro le scie dell'acqua.. e mi piace quando le si fotografano da "dentro"

ci sono 2 cose che non mi convincono.. una non è colpa tua l'altra si
la prima è che avendo dato molto dettaglio sul tronco, che ha anche delle belle texture, con i tempi cosi' della'acqua si ha la sensazione che sia "montato " ... quasi fosse un fotomontaggio (ovvio che non lo sia )
la seconda invece è che la foto mi sembra molto sbilanciata a dx... le nuvole e il mare riempono ma hanno poco "interesse". forse una bella verticale con la linea del tronco sarebbe stata seppur piu' classica, anche piu' bilanciata !
per il resto mi piace!!

There are two things that do not convince me .. one is not your fault, the other one:-D:-D
The first is that, having given much detail on the trunk, which also has some nice texture, with the times so 'della'acqua you have the feeling that it is "mounted" ... almost like a montage (obvious that it is not - ))
the second is that the picture seems very biased to the right ... the clouds and the sea fill but have little "interest." maybe a nice vertical line of the trunk would be even more 'classic, even more' balanced!

Grazie Luca(a volte si ci bagna fino ai polpacci) e Gianluca, il dettaglio sul tronco mi sembra ci stia, contrasta bene con l'acqua ferma, non si può sempre "glowarre" ( si può dire? ) tutto, sulla composizione hai ragione, non c'era soluzione, la spiaggia di Voltri è così se vuoi rendere il riflesso del sole al tramonto la composizione inevitabilmente si sbilancia, a meno di non avere la fortuna di trovare qualche nuvola particolare su lato opposto..ma non era la serata

Thanks Luca (sometimes we get wet up to his calves;-)) and Gianluca, the detail on the trunk seems to me there is, contrasts well with the water stops, you can not always "glowarre" (can you say?:-D :-D) all:-D, composition you're right, there was no solution, the beach of Voltri is so if you want to make the reflection of the setting sun composition inevitably becomes unbalanced, unless you have the good fortune to find some clouds on the side particularly opposto..ma was not the evening;-):-)
