Questa è la classica vipera del deserto,o vipera cornuta.In Libia,nella zona dove mi trovavo per lavoro(1000 Km da Al Wafra)il deserto ne era infestato.Questa fotoripresa è stata fatta di giorno.Le vipere durante le ore più calde stanno nascoste sotto la sabbia.Escono soltanto di notte.Bellissima comunque la fotografia.

la vipera cornuta che vive nel nord africa e nel deserto del sahara è un'altra specie ( Cerastes cerastes ) molto più velenosa della vipera in questione che vive nel parte sud del continente africano.

Ho una foto scattata al campo olio R82 di notte durante una ispezione alle teste pozzo che facevo tutte le notti.Era caduta dentro il muro di contenimento per la sabbia.Appena riesco a digitalizzarla la posto nella galleria animali.
