Generalmente, soprattutto per gli animali, uso anche io sempre il taglio orizzontale (quello verticale talvolta per gli uccelli, tipo picchi ecc.).
Il taglio quadrato lo riservo a casi particolari quando voglio dare enfasi ad un dettaglio o quando, come in questo caso, il resto dell'immagine (corpo dell'animale semi sommerso e sfondo neutro) dava fastidio e distoglieva dal vero protagonista... La bocca enorme di quel bestione Sorriso
