Hi Mario thank you for your comments. I'm a native of Australia and in Australia most people call them Double-barred Finches. They are also know as Owl finches but again I have never heard a birder or bird photographer in Australia call them that. Photograph was taken 5 minutes at a local nature reserve where I have seen many of these finches. : )
