Bellissimo scatto, questo è un organetto maschio adulto, dico questo perché i maschi si colorano dal secondo anno in poi, l'alimento principale per la colorazione sono i semi della betulla che contengono del betacarotene, questo soggetto appartiene alla sottospecie flammea che assieme al cabaret (piumaggio più scuro e più piccolo di taglia) vivono e si riproducono nelle nostre alpi.
