Massimo, ho provato a fare come dici tu ed in effetti scurendo in basso si crea maggiore contrasto che mette in risalto le nuvole, ho notato però che se esagero diventa poi un problema l'alone che si viene a creare attorno al profilo degli alberi e dei tralicci più in basso ma una regolazione leggera potrebbe andare bene.
Fulvio, a dire il vero ci ho messo un po' a decidere il punto del bianco, se lo facevo sulle nuvole mi veniva un blu esagerato in alto ma se lo facevo sul blu veniva tutto giallo, ho deciso di prendere una zona al di sotto delle nuvole ed in questo modo mi sembrava abbastanza bilanciato.
Ho però agito in un modo strano facendo prima il punto del bianco con a classica pipetta di LR e poi con il filtro graduato ho selezionato la parte bassa scaldandola un po' perchè le luci tendevano ad assumere un colore verde/blu molto strano, lo si vede un po' in alto.
In realtà la scena era effettivamente più calda, un po' come dici tu, ma alla fine penso che sia anche una questione di gusti personali, non sono mai stato rigido in materia di WB.

Massimo, I tried to do as you say and actually darkening the bottom creates greater contrast that highlights the clouds, I noticed though that if I exaggerate a problem then becomes the glow that is created around the outline of the trees and the pylons lower but a slight adjustment might be fine.
Fulvio, to be honest it took me a while 'to determine the white point, if I did I was in the clouds in a blue exaggerated high but if I did it was all yellow on blue, I decided to take an area below clouds and in this way it seemed pretty balanced.
However, I have acted in a strange way before doing the white point with a classic pipette LR and then with the graduated filter I selected the lower heating it a little 'because the lights tended to assume a colorand green / blue very strange, you see a little 'high.
In fact, the scene was actually warmer, a little 'as you say, but in the end I think it's also a matter of personal taste, I have never been rigid in terms of WB.

Ho controllato la coordinate gps della foto ma penso di non aver attivato il gps della macchina ma di averle aggiunte a mano in lightroom, quelle strade le conosco piuttosto bene.
Comunque i posti da dove posso aver fatto la foto sono due, ti metto sotto il link che ti aprirà google maps, quasi sicuramente il punto B è quello da dove ho fatto la foto ma anche il punto A va bene, entrambi offrono una bella vista sui laghi Maggiore e di Varese.

I checked the GPS coordinates of the photo but I think you have not activated the GPS of the car but to have them added by hand in lightroom, those streets know them pretty well.
However, the places where I've made the picture are two, I'll put you under the link that will open google maps, almost certainly the point B is where I took the picture but also the point A is fine, both offer a nice view on the lakes Maggiore and Varese.
