, 1/500 f/2.8, ISO 320, hand held. Uthai Thani, Thailand.

#ThaiPeople #LifeInThailand #Sadness #Fire #Famiglia #Emozioni #Tenerezza #Drama #SegniDelTempo #Love

A reportage photo that deals more with life than death; There is no detachment as in the West, the ashes are kept at home, as if to prolong an earthly life with loved ones and the Buddhist vision that death is not death, but a constructive rebirth for an evolution of the soul, which is the one that counts, the one that represents being, the one that never dies. The earthly experiences of the soul are only pieces of experience, made up of trials and difficulties to be overcome for further spiritual growth. So death is not death, it is life that is regenerated.
The serenity of a people is also measured by faith.
An image therefore far from trivial, congratulations for accompanying us with your photos in a fascinating world.
Hello Stefano

This is also a very interesting document!
Photos and captions tell the different approach to life and death
I remember in Mexico and Guatemala, the great party made on the occasion of the death of a relative similar to the celebrations we do for a wedding. The funeral procession accompanied by a musical band playing cheerful and lively songs, the tombs themselves: white and colorful.
Congratulations
Regards, Sergio

Another fantastic document.
Even for Christians, the true ones, with the end of life the door to eternal life opens.
Unfortunately, when this moment arrives, we try to climb on mirrors and even those who have preached it for decades, put on a "sad" face for the event.

A photo-testimony of great intensity. Your shots really make you travel and know otherness as a bridge reaching out to other realities. Congratulations and see you next time
