Unfortunately I could not do without it: I wanted a subject completely in focus and a very large image. Photographing from a shooting point so close up I could not open more the diaphragm for insufficient depth of field.
If I did not need such large formats, I could move a bit ' from the subject and open the diaphragm more, then I could crop the image to bring the subject to the right size within the frame, but the number of Pixel would decrease a lot and to have some image quality I should be content with much smaller images (even in a possible print and I would not like: I like the big formats)

Stefania Purtroppo non potevo farne a meno: volevo un soggetto completamente a fuoco e un'immagine molto grossa. Fotografando da un punto di ripresa così ravvicinato non ho potuto aprire di più il diaframma per insufficiente profondità di campo.
Se non avessi l'esigenza di formati così grossi, potrei allontanarmi un po' dal soggetto e aprire di più il diaframma, successivamente potrei ritagliare l'immagine per riportare il soggetto alla giusta dimensione all'interno del fotogramma, però il numero dei pixel diminuirebbe molto e per avere una certa qualità d'immagine dovrei accontentarmi di immagini molto più piccole (anche in un'eventuale stampa e non mi farebbe piacere: mi piacciono i grandi formati)
