Untitled Photo sent on February 06, 2012 (21:28) by Gianluca30d. 31 comments, 2696 views.

1/2000 f/7.1, ISO 500, hand held. Specie: Falco tinnunculus

Here I am, I've been a little absent, very busy and I had no optical :-|
That 's the first with the new lens, I trust what I read on the forum and ...
Well, thank you all! ;-)
Unfortunately, the subject was far away ...
This' slightly different in PP.
Which do you prefer?

Be 'considering the crop at 100% held up relatively well ... is still a great document I have seen them only with mice, lizards and insects

I would say that although it is a very thorough and crop + that is valid,
Welcome back and congratulations on the new x lens.

Thanks Sarah (the guru of kestrels:-D), Fabio, and Kimera69 Francoofranco, good evening to all!
Well, imagine if I could have a stroke of luck like that (having more 'close) :-| to open the lens!
@ Francoofranco: It 's the Nikkor AF-300 2.8 first type, here with extender 1.7 ...
I read everything you can about the Forum 300 2.8 Nikon, and this is said to be the most 'resolvent and contrasted already' wide open ... what to say, I think it 's true:-D
Greetings!

Hello Daniel and Fabyx, thank you!
Yes, luckily found:-D
Below is mounted the 1.7x extender, I also said that the III is much better the second ...
If I find someone in Rome that makes me try can 'be that I decide to take it, otherwise I do not know, it costs just troppoooo!

Hello Gianluca,

beautiful and unique capture! Poor goldfinch.
In general, as saying Sarah is unusual. It 'much more
easy to see him jump from a tree to land on a mouse.
In any case, crop or non-crop, the detail is remarkable.
Congratulations on the new lens :)

Thanks Gennaro, Franco and Mauro Zeffyro!
We Franco, mice and lizards with different happens with birds and 'the first time.
And the killer was the technique he used ... He used the trees as a hiding place!
It was the classic holy spirit hidden from the tree, looking through the branches, and then diagonally fiondava
towards the prey ... Deadly!

considerable time (I posted a photo of predation with a minigheppio and microtopo:-D, large about one-tenth of these), the picture is good good, a pat on the back for the excellent shooting and other pats 15-20 for when it beccherai a nice full frame, given the results of supercrop! 8-) ;-) really impressive!
