Great capture of expression in this close up. The eye is mesmerizing. The eye should be the focal point. But, as pointed out by Roberto, it's not. To get the whole bird in focus perhaps a little more depth of field would be appropriate. Maybe F7.1 or 8.0 Or simply focus on the eye itself and let the rest blur a bit.
