anche a me il B/N non piace molto in avifauna, ma devo direche su questo scatto mi piace e molto.

Premettendo che lo scatto è tecnicamente come al tuo solito (cioè ottimo), è poi opinione del tutto personale quella che riguarda la scelta del B/N, e secondo me in questo tipo di immagini toglie qualcosa alla "naturalità" del momento Cool.

Rende "giustizia" e "omaggio" al volatile in primo piano e al suo "nero" che rimane pur sempre un bel colore difficile da gestire.
Il B/N crea in questo caso più drammaticità.
