In effetti sembra proprio un poster!
Bella....mi piace particolarmente la pp "che invecchia" e il contrasto con la modernità dei grattacieli e della città.
Poi i grattacieli che tendono a sparire inghiottiti dalla foschia sono bellissimi (è foschia? o l'effetto è dato dal sole che entra da sx?).
Beh....bravo.

Beautiful .... I particularly like the pp "aging" and the contrast with modern skyscrapers and the city.
Then the skyscrapers that tend to disappear swallowed by the mist are beautiful (it mist?, Or the effect is given by the sun coming in from the left?).

Si, la foto è nata con la precisa intenzione di fare un poster B&W. L'accesso al Top of The Rock (da dove ho scattato) è consentito solo a partire dalle 8.30, più una mezzoretta tra coda e controlli, sono arrivato su alle 9. Il sole pur essendo ancora basso era già forte. Me lo aspettavo. Non immaginavo di trovare foschia (unica volta nei 7 giorni di permanenza a NY) che illuminata com'era appannava un po' tutto. Non mi sono scoraggiato ed infatti il viraggio e una regolazione dei livelli hanno dato i frutti sperati. Non lo saprò mai ma forse è andata anche meglio che se ci fosse stato limpido.

Yes, the photo was created with the intention to make a poster B & W. Access to the Top of The Rock (from where I took) is only allowed from 8.30 am, more than half an hour in the queue and checks, I got up at 9. The sun was already low while still strong. I expected it. I did not find mist (only once within 7 days of stay in NY) that it was lit steamed up a bit 'all. I was not discouraged and in fact the color change and adjustment levels have paid off. I'll never know but maybe it went even better than if there had been clear. :-D

Ottimo scatto e altrettanto lo è il lavoro di post! Bellissime le tonalità utilizzate e anche la foschia aggiunge fascino alla foto. Mi piacciono anche le ovvie linee divergenti dei grattacieli che sembrano un'estrusione dal suolo pronta a schizzare verso l'alto. Ciao, Ste.
Great shot and so is the work of post! Beautiful shades used and also the mist adds charm to the picture.
