soggetto stupendo e magistalmente ripreso a caccia.. sarebbe bello che qualcuno di esperto identificasse lo splendido pesce che lo smergo tiene in bocca!!!

Uno scatto eccellente perfetto in tutto ..... l'unica cosa che mi inquieta e la determinazione,mi spiego:
gli occhi rossi sono da smergo minore, ma il collare così marcato il becco diritto con l'unghia in giù è da smergo maggiore ....un bel rebus.
Hai forse qualche altro scatto, magari si vedono meglio collo e becco possibilmente chiuso

An excellent shot perfect in everything ..... the only thing that worries me and determination, let me explain:
red eyes are red-breasted merganser, but the collar so sharp beak with the right nail down is goosander .... a nice puzzle.
Perhaps you have some other shots, maybe you are better neck and beak possibly closed

Questo è il solito maschio 10 secondi prima che pescasse , come puoi notare ha il caretteristico Petto Castano dello Smergo minore maschio , mentre il maschio dello smergo maggiore non lo ha .

This is the usual male 10 seconds before pescasse, as you can see has the caretteristico Brown Chest of Red-breasted Merganser male, while the male end of goosander does not.
