La sveglia suona presto questa mattina,sono le 5 di un sabato di Dicembre,e la voglia di andare a camminare in montagna è più forte della stanchezza.La meta, come sempre negli ultimi mesi,è l'Alpe Devero,ma questa volta in una veste diversa da come ero abituato a vederla,adesso è tutta imbiancata,e lo spettacolo che ho davanti mi incanta.Con me ho le ciaspole,ma la traccia è battuta e si cammina bene anche con gli scarponi,così mi incammino con il solo rumore delle suole sulla neve.La meta di oggi è il lago Codelago (o lago Devero) a 1856 mt. d'altezza,che mi hanno detto essere ghiacciato,ci arrivo dopo una visitina al lago delle streghe,deviazione faticosa in quanto qui la traccia non era battuta e mi sono ritrovato per qualche centinaio di mt. con la neve alle ginocchia.Il lago di Codelago è spazzato dal vento,e sulla sua superficie scricchiolante scivola la neve farinosa,contemplo per qualche minuto il panorama prima di piazzare il treppiedi e fare qualche foto.Poi guardo l'orologio...è già tardi,e ho promesso a casa che sarei tornato per pranzo...così mi incammino verso l'auto,e scendendo mi chiedò già quando potrò ritornare...
