davide

overall I like Franco: the resume point is indovinatissimo, and composition it is highly beneficial, with the "dome" well-distributed, and the wall that curves gently on the opposite edge.
let me have a technical question, because you pre-announcement in December that we will go to the capital with a fairly aggressive intentions at the photo shoot, and I was already thinking to experiment with shots like this: I would like to better understand the management of the lights ... I saw that you held a diaphragm is not properly closed, maybe you were afraid of losing the shot with a long exposure even more, as also write "support of luck"?
beyond the effect on the water that even with only 5'' succeeded well, how come you have not closed the most? If you've done for some other shooting trying timeslong?
I ask because apart from the management of the river, probably with a longer time provided you do not have the same capacity for reflection of the lights on the water flowing, I see the lights altogether a very prominent, especially those closest to pdr , and those on the edge of the bridge burned, then I hypothesize-more-closing the aperture you could recover more if you have not made another shot with different sets (I would have done so)
hello and congratulations, can not wait to try my hand I also in my upcoming "Roman Nights"
david

grazie Luca(pix...) a ritornarci 100 volte a Roma trovi sempre qualche spunto fotografico nuovo;-)
-----------------
ciao a tutti e buona domenica.
Franco

thanks Luke (pix. ..) to go back 100 times in Rome has always inspired some new photo ;-)
-----------------
thanks to you Luka> maybe the next turn together - glad you enjoyed
-----------------
thanks to Marco - friendly, Claudio - glad to see you in my part and bear Koda, always present and attentive as well as' Massimo, thanks for the nice comment.
-----------------
Ciccio
I make a premise: new lens, purchased and not yet used. I'm going to Rome for work and I carry only the new purchase so ', I say, I "I force" and the text.
You will have already 'seen the picture to f. 1.4, [URL =] www.juzaphoto.com/galleria.php?l=it&t=666230 something new 'for me, then I tried a f. 2.5 [URL =] www.juzaphoto.com / galleria.php? l = en & t = 667 047 and f. 4.5 [URL =] www.juzaphoto.com/galleria.php?l=it&t=667354 because I think that the targets with large openings should not be used at small apertures because it would not make sense (I 24 -105 for example that I could use to 50mm and f.9). However, 'curiosity' say it is female macaroni ':-D So I did some tests to f.9 and F.11.
More 'I try not to use any lens aperture at first because the yield is likely to go too close and second because, on average, all lenses perform best if diaphragms medium / medium closed. Without the long introduction, resting on the wall, try a shot that I like, with the dome in the third right, iso low f.9 (priority 'aperture) Manual focus in live view on the bridge and the machine has chosen the time.
<br /> So I did not make the remarks about the weather and its effect silky water. Other 3/4 shots with different max pdr F.11.
This is 'the one who convinced me more'.
Right even your consideration of diaphragm even more 'closed time and a little' more 'long (I do not think much because the light bounce was really great). The railings of the bridge and 'on the edge of burnt but it was really a very strong light that illuminated it.
At this point, I hope you have fun in rome-photo opportunities galore, with any lens and it turns .... then give me a shout when you post.
Hello everyone and happy Sunday.

Bravo Franco!Sorriso

Michela

Truly a beautiful night shot!
I too tried a smaller aperture and slightly longer time periods ;-) but, apart from that, even with these settings you got a great shot.
Bravo Franco! :-)

Nice clip of Franco, perhaps like you've already told you the only flaw is the passamamno of the bridge, but I think most of you could not make it to the end of December ... I'm 5 days. in Rome with his wife and son ... I'll take some more cards ;-):-D:-D:-D good evening:-P
