la focale di 21mm sul sensore full frame ha un angolo di campo verticale di 60°, nel caso di un soggetto che occupa una altezza di campo verticale di 1-1,2m la macchina è a 80-90cm (dalle spalle del soggetto accovacciato in questo caso).
La distanza minima di messa a fuoco del 2,8/21 Zeiss è di 22cm, e con i settaggi usati la profondità di campo è di ca 1m, mettendo la messa a fuoco sugli occhi si ha il soggetto tutto a fuoco, dagli avambracci alla punta dei piedi al viso, mentre lo sfondo già da 2-3m è sfocato.
