Sono particolarmente affezionato a questa foto e al ricordo legato ad essa. E' una delle mie preferite in assoluto. Erano diversi giorni che desideravo fare una bella foto di un Kudu maschio ma fino all'incontro in oggetto non avevo avuto fortuna. Poi improvvisamente è apparso un Kudu maschio adulto in tutto il suo splendore, attorniato da piccoli moscerini che alla luce sembravano scintille o piccole fatine, per come si muovevano. Su Flickr ho caricato altre foto di questo bellissimo esemplare, mi sembrava veramente di essere in una foresta incantata, al cospetto con il re delle fate.
I am particularly fond of this photo and the memory attached to it. And 'one of my absolute favorite. There were several days that I wanted to make a nice picture of a male Kudu but until the meeting in question had not had any luck. Then suddenly there appeared a Kudu male adult in all its splendor, surrounded by small flies that seemed to light sparks or little fairies, the way they moved. On Flickr I uploaded more photos of this beautiful specimen, it seemed really to be in an enchanted forest, in front with the king of the fairies. Accidenti ma cosa avevi fotografato la scena di un film fantasy ?
A parte gli scherzi sul film ma è uno scatto davvero particolare, la luce da dietro crea un'atmosfera particolare.

Anche le luci che disegnano il costato e il nugolo di insetti riportano ad animali fantastici dai poteri magici... ops forse mi sono lasciata un po' andare con la fantasia... COMPLIMENTI!
