Per quanto mi riguarda, tra tutti gli uccelli africani, l' aquila marziale, per la bellezza, la maestosità e lo sguardo magnetico occupa un posto particolare. Dopo avere cercato una buona opportunità per tutto il safari, l' abbiamo trovata proprio all' ultimo secondo ed avevamo già imboccato la strada per uscire dal cratere di Ngorongoro diretti all' aeroporto per prendere il volo di ritorno! Nessuno ci pensava più tanto che una buona parte avevano già chiuso l' attrezzatura negli zaini. Era appollaita su di un cespuglio ed era intenta a mangiare un cigona nera. Ngorongoro- Tanzania Marzo 2012
