Ciao, complimenti bella foto! ;-)

Hello, congratulations nice picture! Why did you take the picture with ISO 400? That is, the contours of the main body of lightning are not well defined, unlike its ramifications smaller. I increased the time and decreased the ISO but I've never caught a bolt of lightning ... so I hope to catch him one day and do it in the best possible way :-) so I want to become an expert in this field if so when the opportunity arises I'll be ready! Too bad for the boulder lit ... ;-)

grazie mille Herrid!

thank you very much Herrid!
the question is not simple, because the lightning is coming to the ground (in this case the rock) exposed properly is not easy. must take into account that the brightness changes from lightning to lightning and also according to the distance of the point in which it falls. if I increased the time and decreased the iso, lightning would have been too little light (the lightning lights up for a split second, a long time like 15 "would not increase its brightness, but would only overexposed rock formation, which instead is illuminated iterates during the shooting).'s not easy, it took me a bit 'to make the image properly exposed (luckily there was no shortage of lightning:-D), but with a little experience you can do excellent work !

a horizon pendant subtracts imposing landscapes and creates imbalance of composition: it would correct.

Yes, in fact I saw the horizon leaning far from the shot, but I lost so much time to make white balance and contrast that the slope of the horizon I missed at the end of processing: -D

Molto bella, piace anche a me. Secondo me distoglie.

Very nice, I like it too. But by inexperienced I believe the stone illuminated unnaturally, and perhaps unnecessary. According to distract me.

Bella, the rock was illuminated by an external light source?

yes, there is a huge lighthouse "parecchimila" Watts pointed to the rock, between the Grim to green, but the town, so I could hardly -D
