Foto stupenda per soggetto, fiore e sfondo! Se mi posso permettere forse disturba un po' la foglia chiara in secondo piano e (se come credo è stato usato il flash) un eccesso di alte luci sul fiore e sul becco. Ma è cercare il pelo nell'uovo perchè rimane una foto eccezionale! Complimenti

Beautiful photos by subject, flower and background! If I can afford maybe a little disturbing 'the leaf in the background and clear (as if I was using the flash) an excess of the highlights on the flower and the beak. But it is nitpicking because it remains a great photo! Congratulations

Grazie Mario del generoso e dettagliato commento. Riguardo la foglia tento di non alterare, nei limiti del possibile, le situazioni ambientali che incontro. Qualcuno ad esempio ha osservato che sarebbe stato meglio pulire il fiore, ma ripeto preferisco che tutto sia più "vero" possibile. Riguardo il flash lo utilizzo staccato dalla fotocamera e posto in basso, solo per cercare la catch e mettere in risalto l'occhio. Credo che la luce che noti sul becco sia quella che dall'alto della foresta penetra e che probabilmente risulta alta per la natura traslucida del becco.
Thank you Mario's generous and detailed comments. :-) Regarding the leaf try not to alter, to the extent possible, the environmental situations that meeting. For example, someone noted that it would be better to clean the flower, but then again I prefer everything to be more "real" as possible. Regarding the use of the flash off the camera, and at the bottom, just to try to catch and highlight the eye. I believe that the light on the beak is known that from the top of the forest penetrates and that is probably high for the translucent nature of the beak.
