Nel cuore della Via Lattea, nella costellazione del Sagittario, brillano due autentiche icone del cielo estivo: M8, la Nebulosa Laguna, e M20, la Nebulosa Trifida. In una delle regioni più ricche di gas, polveri e stelle dell'intera Galassia, queste due nebulose raccontano la complessità dei processi di formazione stellare. Il rosso intenso rivela la presenza di idrogeno ionizzato, la cui emissione è alimentata dalla radiazione delle giovani stelle appena nate; le intricate bande di polveri oscure scolpiscono la Trifida e si intrecciano con la Laguna creando spettacolari contrasti; infine, le delicate nebulose a riflessione, dal caratteristico colore azzurro, diffondono la luce delle stelle vicine attraverso finissime particelle di polvere. Un piccolo scorcio del cuore della nostra Galassia, dove la nascita delle stelle continua ancora oggi. Dopo oltre un anno di inattività, ho voluto dare un'altra chance alla camera di ripresa ASI 585MC-Air. Ancora una volta, non mi convince. Non so bene da cosa possa dipendere, ma le preferisco ancora la mia "vecchia" 184 MC-Pro. Questa immagine è il risultato di 256 pose autoguidate da 45 secondi ciascuna, nessun dark, nessun bias. Setup utilizzato: ASI 585MC-Air su Samyang 135mm f/2 chiuso a f/2.8
