Però vorrei precisare che l'insetto fotografato è una cicalina (Cicadellidae), e sebbene appartenga allo stesso ordine (Homoptera) delle cicale (Cicadidae), fanno parte di un'altra famiglia. Le cicaline sono molto più piccole delle cugine cicale, ed i maschi non emettono il suono (frinire) che tutti conosciamo.
