Uno scorcio della magnifica Villa Almerico-Capra-Valmarana, meglio conosciuta come 'La Rotonda', l'opera più conosciuta e famosa dell'architetto Andrea Palladio che si trova in prossimità della città di Vicenza. Commissionata al Palladio da Paolo Almerico nel 1566, divenne proprietà dei fratelli Odorico e Mario Capra già nel 1591, per poi passare, dopo numerose vicissitudini, nel 1912, alla nobile famiglia Valmarana, che ne è tuttora proprietaria. Dopo i danneggiamenti subiti dai bombardamenti della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, dal 1976 sono iniziati i restauri conservativi, interamente a carico della proprietà, che ce l'hanno consegnata nello splendido stato attuale. Aperta al pubblico dal 1980, nel 1994 la Rotonda viene dichiarata Patrimonio dell'Umanità dell'Unesco.
