La meravigliosa Cisterna Basilica a Istanbul. Costruita nel 532 dall'imperatore Giustiniano, ampliando una struttura preesistente risalente all'epoca dell'imperatore Costantino. In passato l'acqua presente nella cisterna serviva i ricchi palazzi della zona. Dopo la conquista di Costantinopoli, avvenuta nel 1453, l'acqua serviva a irrigare i giardini del palazzo Topkapı, residenza dei sultani. La struttura, in stato di forte degrado, è stata oggetto di restauro nel 1987 , assurgendo a livello turistico a monumento simbolo di Istanbul. Scatto questa volta col nuovo giocattolo....erano anni che volevo prendermi un fisheye, spero vi piaccia. Il luogo è davvero magico. Buona visione! Davide
