Consonno é una localitá di Olginate (LC), situata a circa 634m slm. é (era) un borgo antico, la storia del quale risale una mila di anni fa, ma negli anni 50-60 del secolo scorso é stato demolito per costruire una specie di Las Vegas brianzola, o "città dei balocchi". è stata abbandonata principalmente a causa di una devastante frana nel 1976 che ha isolato il borgo, distruggendo l'unica via d'accesso. Il progetto, ideato dall'imprenditore Mario Bagno negli anni '60 è fallito a causa dell'instabilità idrogeologica, del calo di interesse turistico e degli ingenti costi di manutenzione.
