sliita micrometer diego:-D I do not see excessive presence of noise, however, did not have to be able to pull it off with such subjects' well-defined with lasso Request Narrow the background is not very close to the swallowtail and the blur radius 0.7 / 1.2 maximum strip it all without leaving any obvious trace on the edges at least of view to 100%. said this, and based on the concept that the image is very good I rivedrei the white balance or scalderei the swallowtail and the composition would have rotated slightly to make it more 'dynamic. in summary excellent subject:-D. good sample

With such a person go to look at the hairs. Noise I do not think it can be discussed. True that we are looking at the monitor, so it's important that we see, but if you doin 'this to the press I think your fears vanish.
If you want to be propio tax, concerned the whites of the roost, some are overexposed.

Grazie

Guz, with valuable advice! While you are there, how do you suggest to fix the white balance? X regarding the composition of the shots I abche with swallowtail at an angle but this is the only x prefer the subject bigger!

Pigi, thanks to you xi suggestions! As you may have noticed I have always problem with whites, I have to get used to underexpose during shooting!

I placed the roost with shadows / lights but the maximum I was able to do is what you see, as you procederesti?

Thanks

Ah dimenticavo!
Sorriso

Oh I forgot! Flavio, the sleigh is always mounted but the subject is lowered more and more wings so I could be a fs!

for balancing a scaldatina to white heat by increasing the temperature slightly (do not know what it is now sincerely) ;-)

I knew it but I can heat it up in camera raw with temperature, instead ps do not know where this feature! : Fconfuso :: fconfuso:

the ideal is to do it in camera raw, photoshop does not exist in the color temperature of at least redo the dropper with bilanciamneto white but the specialist in this free spirit:-D.

In the recovery phase after observing the histogram and if you possibly signaling the over-exposure image through the vision of the disply, compenserei negatively to retract the highlights.
In pp would use the adjustment brush camera RAW.

Ciao;-)

Shooting very nice and well done I agree with Flavio for the composition.
As for the swallowtail to retrieve the yellow of the wings can go selective color selections whites and bring yellow 100% made in this increasingly selective color choose yellow and bring 100% black. Once this is done avi selections yellow hue saturation and satuira far to +10. Clearly it is my humble advice. ;-)

A swallowtail recovered very well, beautiful even without retouching, .. I dare myself to make a suggestion to "warm up" the colors of the swallowtail.
A simple method (although a little empirical): In Photoshop just use the photographic filter, the filter yourself for example hot 85 with a density of 20/25%, of course heats the whole image and the white flower will become a little yellow, to remove This ruling from the flower you can use the white brush of the Levels or Curves clicking on the petals of the flower

Ciao e complimenti

Great looking shot, I agree with what was said above for the whites of the roost and the colors slightly cold. Hello and congratulations
