Squalo Wobbegong (fam. Orectolobidae) nel suo tipico comportamento di predazione d’agguato. Appoggiato sul corallo, sfrutta la sua colorazione e le frange cutanee per integrarsi completamente col fondale corallino. Rimane immobile anche a lungo, diventando parte del reef, finché le prede si avvicinano a distanza utile. Un mimetismo incredibile, dove morfologia e comportamento lavorano insieme. In fotografia subacquea, una delle difficoltà maggiori è spesso quella di avvicinarsi al soggetto, ma il vero lavoro è distinguere il reef, scegliere l’angolo giusto e scattare senza alterarne il comportamento.
