Posta a 1233 metri di altitudine, su uno sperone roccioso a strapiombo sulla Valle Maira, la chiesa di San Peyre di Stroppo ti aspetta lungo la strada che conduce a Elva. Costruita fra il XII e il XIII secolo, è caratterizzata da una semplice facciata a capanna, il tetto in ardesia e il campaniletto a vela. Su di essa e sul recinto dell’antico cimitero svetta il campanile gotico. Il portale in pietra è sormontato da un grosso arco a tutto sesto romanico.
