Inusuale il posatoio di questo Martin pescatore. L'ho visto quasi per caso sulle rive del Piovego, a Padova. In prossimità dell'antico porto fluviale del Portello, osservava scrupoloso le acque del fiume Piovego, che attraversa la città, da uno degli scivoli di carico che rifornivano i battelli fluviali. Gli ambienti urbani sono diventati un rifugio e una fonte alternativa di cibo per i selvatici, visto che l'uomo ha ormai invaso i loro ambienti originari.
