Un incontro con un animale davvero particolare: il leopardo melanico. Alcuni mesi fa ho deciso di dedicare un viaggio a un'area del Kenya dove questo felino viene occasionalmente avvistato. Ho trascorso sei giorni seguendo le sue tracce, lavorando con pazienza e osservando i segnali che potevano indicarne la presenza. Le opportunità di vederlo e fotografarlo sono state poche, com'è prevedibile con un animale così elusivo, ma sufficienti per documentarlo. Si è rivelato uno dei soggetti più interessanti e complessi che abbia ricercato sul campo.
