Un tempo, su questa costa di Madeira, sorgeva un piccolo molo. Da lì partivano i pescatori all'alba, le reti sulle spalle e il profumo di sale sulla pelle. Le voci si mescolavano al rumore delle onde e alla speranza di un ritorno carico di pesce. Poi il mare, con la sua pazienza millenaria, ha iniziato a reclamare ciò che gli apparteneva. Le tempeste hanno eroso, le maree hanno consumato. Ora restano solo blocchi di pietra, sospesi in un silenzio irreale, circondati dall'oceano e da un cielo che corre veloce. Sono frammenti di memoria, vestigia di un passato che il tempo non ha cancellato del tutto. Oggi, chi si ferma a guardare, non vede solo rovine: vede la lotta e l'abbraccio eterno tra uomo e natura, tra ciò che resta e ciò che continua a scorrere.
