Carnival is approaching and the traditions between the sacred and the profane are intertwined in events handed down for millennia on your island.
At the beginning they were pagan rites, then religion took over by celebrating the feast of the Saint, but these masks the Boes have remained attached to your tradition coexisting side by side with the blessing of the priest and rites you described. All fascinating and unique in its kind with your images as evidence that leave us enchanted.
Beautiful Giuseppe, congratulations.
Best regards, Loris
