Il Pemaquid Point Lighthouse è uno storico faro statunitense situato a Bristol, nella contea di Lincoln, nel Maine, sulla punta del Pemaquid Neck. Cari amici, un posto davvero splendido ! vi propongo questo scatto verticale.. le rocce davvero particolari scendono sull'oceano che in questo tratto di costa si fa sentire, eccome ! Uno dei più importanti fari di questo magnifico Paese. Pensate che nel New England ci sono 65 fari, dei quali 55 ancora attivi ! la grande parte costruiti ad inizi 800 come avamposti e sentinelle per proteggere i vascelli dalle nebbie. (cit. guida Touring) . In questo faro è possibile passare la notte, prenotando per tempo ! grazie in anticipo per ogni visita, commento e consiglio !
