Il posto offre davvero una bellissima panoramica sul Sorapiss. Si può raggiungere anche in auto per una strada quasi tutta asfaltata, o a piedi partendo dalla vicinanze dell'Albergo Cristallo(lungo la strada da Auronzo a Misurina). Da Malga Maraia si possono poi raggiungere il Rifugio Città di Carpi e i Cadini di Misurina per comoda carrareccia (no auto).
