Voltri, due passi oltre la fine del posteggio del supermercato, sulla sinistra si vede la fine diga del porto, eliminarla in ripresa e/o sopratutto in post sarebbe stato facilissimo ma avrebbe reso troppo Wild lo scatto decontestualizzandolo oltre quelle che questa volta erano le mie intenzioni.

una spettacolare scena dinamica... le tonalità fredde del cielo plumbeo e dell' onda verdastra contrastano egregiamente con il primo piano riscaldato leggermente dal tronco...
Personalmente la diga del porto non mi disturba e come da te detto contestualizza lo scatto ed al tempo stesso rassicura l'osservatore...

complimenti comunque per le tue foto l'uso dei tempi lunghi per l'acqua da risultati splendidi, forse in contraddizione con la fotografia che dovrebbe fissare un istante non il divenire, interessante ricerca comunque.

Giovanni, il mare era "lungo" ma s'infrangeva abbastanza lontano e la spiaggia era piatta, niente pericolo di spruzzi altrimenti avrei usato la 5d2, solo piedi bagnati come al solito
Claudio, prima d'uscire dò un'occhiata al cielo ed alle webcam sul mare, se vedo che la situazione può farsi interessante butto in macchina lo zaino completo con tanto di xprob

John, the sea was "long" s'infrangeva but far enough away and the beach was flat, no risk of splashing otherwise I would have used the 5d2, only feet wet as usual ;-):-D
Claudio, before going out I take a look at the sky and the webcams on the sea, if I see that the situation can get interesting'll jump in the car with a backpack full of so much XPROB ;-)

Caterina un buono scatto marino, ma molto "standard" se mi permetti. Un cielo (forzato in post), il movimento del mare e il classicissimo tronco. Naturalmente tutto fatto molto bene, ma lo trovo poco emozionante.
Personalmente non avrei inquadrato la diga foranea, lo trovo solo un elemento di disturbo.
Non fraintendermi, lo avrei fatto anche io lo scatto anche solo per il divertimento di stare lì ma se poi non mi avesse trasmesso emozione me lo sarei tenuto nel mio hd .. ma probabilmente a te fà un altro effetto.

Catherine :-) a good shot marine, but very "standard" if you allow me. A sky (forced in post), the movement of the sea and the very classic trunk. Of course, all done very well, but I find it very exciting.
Personally I would not have framed the breakwater, I find it just a nuisance.
Do not get me wrong, I would have done even I shoot just for the fun of staying there but if not then I had sent me the emotion I held in my hd .. but probably gets you another effect. ;-)

Max, della diga ho già parlato, per come ho pensato questo scatto, per quello che deve raccontare, ha ruolo fondamentale, senza sarebbe stato una cosa diversa, la post ha coinvolto l'intero scatto credo che uno dei più grossi difetti dei sensori odierni sia che per allargare la gamma tonale finiscono per comprimere molto i toni specie nelle tonalità chiare, la scelta d'usare la 6d al posto della vecchia 5d2 "già ben salata" è dovuto al fatto che avevo ben presente il lavoro da fare in post e sapevo che altrimenti avrei rischiato d'avere problemi di banding, il resto sono considerazioni personali di cui posso solo prendere atto

Max, I have already spoken of the dam, for as I thought this shot, for what it has to tell, has vital role, without it would have been a different thing, the post involved the entire shooting I think one of the biggest flaws of today's sensors whether to expand the tonal range to compress very end tones especially in light colors, the choice of using the 6d on the site of the old 5d2 "already well salted" is due to the fact that I had in mind the work to be done in post and I knew that otherwise I would have risked having problems with banding, the rest are personal considerations of which I can only take note ;-)
