All'estremità meridionale della spiaggia di Porto Paglia (Gonnesa), spicca in un contesto surreale la chiesetta (San Pietro) della tonnara chiamata anche Casa del Pescatore, costruita direttamente sugli scogli. Con la bassa marea si può raggiungere con una breve camminata sulle rocce affioranti, unica in Sardegna accessibile direttamente dal mare: le imbarcazioni possono essere ancorate alla piccola banchina del sagrato.
