Se non erro, la regione del Mangystau è stata aperta agli stranieri solo recentemente, tipo nel 2018.
Avevo programmato il viaggio a maggio 2020, poi per ragioni legate al Covid, il Paese ha chiuso le frontiere e tutto è rimasto nel congelatore fino ad aprile scorso quando ho avuto la possibilità di riorganizzare il viaggio.
Le mie aspettative erano assai alte ma la realtà le ha abbondantemente superate.
Anche l'organizzazione locale è stata al top, mai visto una preparazione e un'attenzione consimile in nessuna altra parte al mondo ! (intendo jeep, attrezzatura, cordialità, ecc.).
