Il filtraggio dell'acqua sul legno, la sua vetustà, la fragilità. Ma forse era la rovina del tempo, il ciclo del passaggio di ogni cosa, i colori che cambiavano con le ore e la luce che il cielo permetteva in ogni stagione. Poi ho capito che era tutto questo e molto di più. Era un soggetto che impersonava la grandezza di ogni albero e tutti gli insegnamenti che gli alberi mostrano agli uomini e alle donne di questa terra. Ho scelto di mostrarlo in bianco e nero, ma per quanto sia contrario a pubblicare ripetutamente uno stesso soggetto e prediliga la variazione, tornerà ancora, a colori e in b/n, con qualche altra fotografia, perché sono molte e differenti le sensazioni che se ne possono ricavare.
